SUNY Empire Pathways Transfer Program

Outreach Training Institute

SUNY Empire State College has partnered with the Outreach Training Institute to provide its employees and students a pathway to earning an associate, bachelor's or master's degree.

Benefits of this community partnership include:

  • Orientation fee waiver
  • $100 Presidential Scholarship during the first term of matriculated enrollment

Prospective students must provide a valid partnership code at the time of application in order to receive these benefits. The code can be obtained from the designated representative at the partner organization.

More About This Partnership:

Individuals who complete the CASAC-T training program at OTI are eligible to receive college credit to apply toward an undergraduate degree at SUNY Empire State College. (Students who entered the OTI training program before September 1, 2013 will need to pursue credit via individualized Prior Learning Assessment.)

CASAC-T credits:
CASAC-T credits are available to any undergraduate student who entered a NYS OASAS program on or after September 1, 2013 and earned their CASAC-Trainee credential.

CASAC credits:
CASAC credits as listed are available to any undergraduate student who entered a NYS OASAS program on or after September 1, 2013 and earned their CASAC credential. Students who do not fall under this time frame but who have earned the full CASAC credential after 1997 may be eligible for up to 32 credits
