Tuition and Fees

Please Note: Because the residency has been moved to a virtual format, students will not be charged a residency fee for the fall 2020 term.

In addition to SUNY Empire State College tuition and fees, there is a $50 residency fee that covers the cost of meals, refreshments, guest speakers and staffing. This fee is only charged once per term, regardless of how many residency courses a student takes.

Financial aid may be used to cover the residency fee.

Refunds for the residency fee will not be given after the collegewide add/drop deadline:
