This is a sample agenda from past residencies. A new agenda will be created for the field experience at Muller Field Station for the summer 2024 term. The visit to the Utica Zoo will be replaced with a different learning activity.  

Friday

11 a.m.-12 p.m. arrive at field station and check in (grab lunch on the way)
12:15-1:15 p.m. introductions, schedule review, tour and field safety
2-6 p.m. hands-on field demonstrations
6-7 p.m. radio telemetry & drone
7-8 p.m. working dinner at the field station
8-9 p.m. time to work on projects/assignments

Saturday

7:30-8 a.m. breakfast and data analysis discussion
8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. hands-on demonstrations
1-2 p.m. lunch
2-5 p.m. data activities
5 -5:30 p.m. break/data analysis
5:30-7 p.m. pond & forest hike
7-8 p.m. working dinner
8-9 p.m. soil & water testing lab
9-10 p.m. time to work on projects/assignments

Sunday

Time Activity
7:30-8:30 a.m. breakfast and discussion
8:30-9:15 a.m. cleaning, pack and depart for Utica Zoo
10 a.m. arrive at Utica Zoo and briefing
10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. data collection
12:15-1 p.m. evaluate and discuss data from plant genetics and trapping projects
12:15-12:30 p.m. wrap up discussion, projects/activities and depart for home
