You should become familiar with the appropriate pages of the Empire State College web site to help you find information.

What is my college login?
You have an Empire State College login and password to access the main college services, your student records and our online learning resources. When you apply for admissions, you will be issued a login. To activate your login, choose the "Activate my login" link above. You only need to activate your login once. Your login will remain active until 6 months after your last enrollment.

Will the college provide me an actual e-mail account on a college server?
Much of the college's correspondence is through e-mail. It is important to be sure your personal e-mail address is part of your college record. To report any change in your e-mail address, use the "Update Email" link avovce. Most students prefer to use the e-mail account available through their ISP, their work location or one of the free e-mail services. In certain circumstances where using a free e-mail service is not viable, the college will provide an e-mail account on a college server. A college e-mail account must be requested through your mentor.

Do I have a college email address?
You can use your login with as an e-mail address. Your college email address will look like this: E-mail addressed to you this way will be forwarded to the personal e-mail account listed in your college records. Use this e-mail address any time you need an email address with the "edu" or educational domain, for example, when inquiring about educational discounts.

How can I learn about technology at Empire State College?

What if I need technical help for one of my college activities?
If you need assistance with Moodlerooms, DP Planner or other technology, call 800-847-3000 ext.2420. For library assistance, call 800-847-3000 ext. 2222. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
