Included in student tuition is a mandatory Student Activity Fee (SAF) of $35 each semester. The SAF supports many student activities, events, and projects to enrich the curricular and co-curricular experiences of all students.

According to SUNY Policy: Student Activity Fees, a referendum must be held every two years to decide if the fee should remain mandatory. The next referendum will be held in fall 2022.
