SUNY Empire's Sustainability Committee invites the college community to celebrate Earth Day on April 22 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join Officer in Charge Nathan Gonyea as he welcomes Associate Professor Kevin Woo and Army Program Coordinator Mindy Boenning. They will be joined by:

• Jessica Lansing of Lansing Family Farm
• Lynn Trizna, executive director of Pitney Meadows Community Farm
• Fran Weiss, a dietitian at Hannaford
• Diane Whitten, community nutrition educator for the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County
• Dianna Goodwin, who serves on the board of directors at Sustainable Saratoga

The group will participate in a discussion on climate change, community-supported agriculture, local farming initiatives, and everyday sustainability. Together we can nurture our local environment and planet for a greener future.
