Do you have additional requirements for your financial aid? Here’s how to check!

By Michelle Campbell, Director of Financial Aid

Now that you’ve already applied for financial aid for 2022-2023 by submitting your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), your New York State TAP application if you are a NY resident and your Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) application if you are a part-time student and a NY resident, it’s time to make sure you have no additional financial aid requirements!  Visit MyESC and log on to Self-Service Banner by clicking the financial aid tab and the eligibility box for the 2022-2023 aid year to view and satisfy any established requirement(s).  Also be sure to view any messages from the Financial Aid Office that you may have in Self-Service.  Doing these things will ensure the quick processing of your financial aid eligibility determination and package.

If you have already received your financial aid package for 2022-2023 and you wish to take out student loans, please make sure to visit Self-Service to accept your student loans.  Active acceptance is required.

If your financial situation has changed/worsened versus what appears on your 2020 taxes, please review the Special Condition process on our website under appeals to see if you qualify for additional aid.

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a federally funded, need-based financial aid program that allows students with financial need to earn FWS funds through employment with authorized FWS employers. If you are interested in having FWS, please contact the Financial Aid Office.  There are several positions and opportunities available.

We look forward to being your financial solution this coming year!
