SUNY Empire State College is hosting its Fall Student Kickoff live this year! The onsite celebrations will be held at our Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Hartsdale, Saratoga, and Selden locations on the first day of fall classes, Tuesday, September 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. 

The goal of this family-friendly event is to welcome YOU, our students to the 2022-23 academic year.  There will be information about SUNY Empire’s many college services along with refreshments, giveaways, and tours. You will have the chance to meet our faculty and staff. We’ll also have activities and back-to school giveaways for children. Students can stop in for a few minutes to grab info and refreshments or stay as long as they wish. 

The event will feature a virtual welcome at 5:30 p.m. from Nathan Gonyea, the acting provost and Elizabeth Maxwell, president of the Student Government Association.  

This event is the first of many networking opportunities this year as we work to expand engagement with faculty, staff, and alumni.  We look forward to an academic year with more live events at our locations.
