NaturalReader
By Andrea Piazza, Disability Specialist, Office of Accessibility Resources and Services
Do you learn better when you hear information read out loud versus reading it to yourself? Does it help you process information better when you read AND listen to information?
Check out Natural Reader, a free text-to-speech program with a web-based component and no downloading. You can drag and drop files from your text documents into the program for any accessible text you would like read out loud. This program has the ability to adjust font size and highlight as it reads along. The free version has several voice options, and readers can adjust the narration speed.
This is one of many tools available through our Office of Accessibility Resources and Services. Please contact our office if you need accommodations due to a disability.
