SUNY Empire State College School for Graduate Studies to Host Admissions Panel Presentation Master’s in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling Program

SUNY Empire is hosting a virtual graduate school admissions program on September 16, 2020 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The purpose of this program is to be able to introduce students to the different graduate programs and careers available in the human service field.

This program is for students interested in applying to MSW, school counseling, or mental health counseling degree programs. Learn from the participating schools about their application requirements, application timeline and how their programs can help you with your career path.  It is helpful for those who may be unaware of the differences in the academic requirements, licensing, or professional roles once it is completed.

The panel will discuss:

  • Admission process and requirements
  • Degree requirements
  • Field placement
  • Post-graduation, licensing, and certification requirements
  • Q&A session
