Many changes have happened over the summer and moving into the fall 2022 academic year. I became president after the spring elections along with my running mate Matt Berge, the SGA vice president. New to the SGA is Rhon Glasgow, serving as our elected treasurer. Rhon is a recent graduate of the School of Business and is continuing his studies in graduate school in the fall. Matt Berge and I are both 2021 graduates of the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Unfortunately, the SGA is without a secretary, and we are hoping to fill that position in September. ... MORE

Directors of Academic Support Dan McCrea and Mildred Van Bergen have created a short video that can give students those skills. John J. Lawless, Ph.D., MPH is a professor in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He started at SUNY Empire State in 2006 as a mentor in Community and Human Services at the Utica location. He utilizes the Boulder model to develop a teaching and research agenda that links clinical practice, teaching pedagogy, and research. When you get accepted, you are paired with a coordinator who can assist you with overcoming personal barriers or just to answer your questions.
