SUNY Empire will be moving to a new Learning Management System called Brightspace starting with the Fall 2022 Term for both online and virtual (e.g., virtual study groups, residencies, and independent studies) courses.  

A self-paced training on Brightspace is available for new and returning students to learn how to navigate the platform, participate in discussions, submit activities, and find feedback from instructors. Webinars, tutorials, and drop-in office hours are available throughout the month of September. The SUNY Empire IT Service Desk can answer any technical questions you may have.

Important Dates 

• Tuesday, September 6 is the first day of fall 2022 classes in Brightspace.
