Kevin Dean Featured on Blog Discussing Challenges Facing Military Students in Online Learning Environment

Kevin K. Dean, an assessment specialist for the Center for Distance Learning and adjunct faculty member of the college's graduate certificate in veterans services, is featured in the "Voices" blog at the Institute for Veterans And Military Families at Syracuse University, a nationally focused Institute for Veterans and Military Families.
Dean is a veteran of the U.S Army and New York Air National Guard.
In his role at the college, Dean supports the assessment of prior learning for college credit and individual degree program review. He also designed and taught both lower- and upper-level military transitions courses for the college and helped design the veterans’ programs and benefits course and the military cultural competency course for the graduate certificate program in veterans' services.
