Metro Center Black History Month: "Breaking Boundaries," Mixed-Media Exhibition, at Livingston Gallery until March 30

Native American“Breaking Boundaries,” a mixed-media exhibition, will be on display at the college’s Livingston Gallery, 177 Livingston St., sixth floor, in Brooklyn until March 30, with a special reception set for Thursday, Feb. 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Eight artists will be included in the show, including alumni Leslie Arlette Boyce ’01 and April Simmons ’10. The artists portray personal or collective experiences that separate or limit potential and possibilities. The name of the show, “Breaking Boundaries,” represents freedom, a desirable human condition. (Photo at left by Leslie Arlette Boyce)
