Another SUNY school year begins!
As always, this is an exciting time of new beginnings. Whether you’re a returning student, new to SUNY, or new to college altogether, I want to welcome you, all of you, all back to school.
As we say so often, the possibilities at SUNY are really endless. As a SUNY student you have access to everything you need to succeed, the widest array world-class programs from which to choose and some of the best faculty in the nation. We want you to make the most of it all. Use this time to enrich your life and grow your brain. Join a club or cause, read widely and deeply, stay curious about the world, ask questions and seek answers. This is what a public university is for.
We want you to know that SUNY is here to help you reach your goals. Whether it’s academic, financial, social, or anything in between, our campuses have the resources and support systems to help you reach your goals and complete your degree. So use them. We’re here for you.
I wish you the best of luck for a successful semester and have every faith that when you commit yourself to education, no matter what challenges you face in the process, you’ll be on the path to building your best life.
And please, share your move-in and school-starting stories with us on social media by tagging @SUNY. We love to hear from all our students on their education journeys.
