SUNY Launches Updated Website‌SUNY Empire State College’s refreshed website launched on Wednesday, Nov 30.  The phase I launch includes a redesign of the home page and five main pages. Most deeper pages (those that sit below the home page) also have launched, with the new design applied to existing content.

The primary objective for phase I was to set the foundation for the college site, focusing on the following key pages:

  • Home
  • About Us
  • Locations
  • Degrees & Programs
  • School of Nursing
  • Admissions & Aid

These key pages were foundationally built to have a clean design, improved navigation, student-centric voice, simplified, yet more engaging content, and a responsive layout for an improved mobile experience.

Some other great new features of the site include a dynamic map of college locations , where students can search by zip code or "near-them" functionality, hours of operation, directions or maps, and more.

What’s next?

The new look will be applied to the remaining pages of the site as soon as possible. And, phase II, already underway, will include further modifications to functionality and user experience. In addition, content on secondary and tertiary pages will be updated and/or rewritten to reflect the college's new voice, improvements to design and integrated continuity with content on the rest of the site.
