April 5, 2017
Applications are now open for scholarships in the 2017-2018 academic school year, through a new online portal called ESCFAST. Thanks to the college’s donors, more than $700,000 in scholarships will be distributed by the SUNY Empire State College Foundation to eligible students in the upcoming year.
How do I apply?
Log in to ESCFASTusing your college e-mail address and password to review more than 100 individual scholarship opportunities that are available. Then, answer a few questions and submit a brief essay for the General Application. The application process only takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
As part of the application process a recommendation is required. You will be asked to submit the name and e-mail address of an Empire State College faculty or staff member to provide the recommendation on your behalf.
Once the General Application has been submitted, you will also have the option to submit supplemental information to apply for specific scholarships – for example, by submitting an additional essay, or answering specific questions about your course work or professional interests.
After your applications are complete, you can monitor the status of your application by logging back in to your ESCFAST account at any time. If you are awarded a scholarship, you can submit your acceptance materials directly through the ESCFAST portal.
