The Office of Communications and Government Relations launched ESC-TV, a new service, April 24, 2012 at 7 p.m. with a live webcast of “War Stories.”

The college’s live webcasts, as is the case with “War Stories,” are often multi-camera shoots utilizing a video switcher to achieve high-quality production values.

A webpage located here, ESC-TV will be the only place to go to watch all the college’s live webcasts. Alternatively, the following URL put into a browser will display the page:
Public-facing and available for anyone interested in watching, a login is not required to access ESC-TV.
Bookmarking the page in a Web browser enables easy access.

A video loop announcing upcoming live webcast will be displayed on the ESC-TV webpage until the webcast of the premier event. After “War Stories” streams, upcoming webcasts will again be displayed.
In the near term, ESC-TV hosts the college’s live webcast. In the future, ESC-TV will host archives of previous webcasts for on-demand replay and other college video content also could be hosted or mirrored on ESC-TV.

Here are a couple of tips for first-time viewing of this new service from OCGR. At present, ESC-TV works best with Internet Explorer. When the yellow allow add-on bar appears at the top of Explorer, click right to allow the add-on and the upcoming video loop will play until the performance at 7 p.m.
