Safety and Security Releases Annual Statistics on Reported Crime

In accordance with The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, SUNY Empire State College’s Annual Safety and Security Report and Procedures includes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred in buildings owned or controlled by SUNY Empire State College, on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from these buildings. The report also includes institutional policies and procedures related to college security and building maintenance, alcohol and drug use, emergency procedures, domestic and workplace violence information, incident reporting policy and procedure, crime prevention, sexual assault/sexual crimes information and prevention, hate and bias-related crime information and additional information required under this act.

The Office of Safety and Security will provide, upon request, all campus crime statistics as reported to the U.S. Department of Education. Interested parties may obtain a copy of this report by contacting the Office of Safety and Security at http://ope.ed.gov/security/. Additionally, it may be accessed on the SUNY Empire State College website at www.esc.edu/safetysecurity/jeanne-clery-act/annual-security-report/.
