Students Travel to Israel to Study Arab-Jewish Relations A new learning opportunity has been established for the SUNY Empire State College, Summer 1 2016 term. In cooperation with an established educational institution in Israel, Empire State College will be offering students a chance to combine online studies with a three-week field experience in Israel, all focused on “Building a Civil Society in the Middle East.” Students will choose one of three studies, each of which will meet a different SUNY general education requirement. The field experience will include classroom learning, field trips and meetings with leaders in the field of Arab-Jewish relations and democratic institution building.
