As we continue through National Nutrition Month and approach the 2016 Student Wellness Retreat in April, the next two issues will offer several related articles and information with an emphasis on health and wellness. Your health is important and SUNY Empire State College wants to help make sure you stay healthy while you are a student – and beyond.

Don’t forget to register for the Student Wellness Retreat, April 14-16, at The Hilton in downtown Albany, N.Y., where you will be able to participate in many great activities. The retreat will feature Emmy-winning comedian and heart-attack survivor Tracey Conway as our opening speaker, as well as keynoter Chris Powell, the host of “ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss.” You’ll have access to personal health coaches, more than 30 vendors and free, professional chair massages and can choose to participate in more than 40 sessions on topics such as stress management, Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, eating healthy.

Hope to see you there!
