Statewide Open House for Prospective Graduate and Undergraduate Students
By Clayton Steen, vice president, Enrollment Management
May 5, 2016
The college will host a statewide open house for prospective undergraduate and graduate students from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, at most SUNY Empire locations. Faculty and staff at open house locations will participate in activities to welcome and inform students about the Empire State College experience with assistance from regional students and alumni.
Representatives from several Coordinating Center offices, including admissions and financial aid, are participating via videotaped messages, ESC-TV and Skype.
In additional to the information those representatives provide, prospective students also will receive an orientation-fee waiver code to apply to their application for admission.
Kate Colberg of the Latham location, Samantha James of Long Island and Tracy Zappola, in Syracuse, are planning the event.
Additional information and more specific details will be provided as they become available. The support and participation of the entire college community will be appreciated to help make this first-time, statewide event a success.
