Desiree Drindak, Military Academic Development Coordinator
Desiree Drindak advises enrolled and prospective military and veteran students. She serves as a mentor coach, manages our military and veteran outreach initiatives and coordinates our on-base military outreach specialists.
Ms. Drindak also oversees student agreement submissions, the preliminary review process, degree program development and military transcript reviews. In addition, Ms. Drindak mentors for the Center for Distance Learning and co-developed a course called "Transitions: Career and Educational Skills for Military and Veteran Students."
Ms. Drindak is a military spouse and has worked in military education for over a decade. Most recently she was a military academic advisor for the Center for Distance Learning at Empire State College. Previously she served as an on-base advisor and navy college counselor in Norfolk, Virginia. Ms. Drindak holds an M.Ed. in psychology with a concentration in student personnel administration in higher education from Springfield College, Springfield, Massachusetts.
