Empire State University Announces SUNY Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence Recipients

(SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — June 14, 2023) Empire State University announced the recipients of the SUNY Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence on Monday, June 12. These awards are given to recognize consistently superior professional achievement and encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence among SUNY’s faculty and staff.  

This year, five Empire State University employees were awarded this honor:  

• Dana Brown, senior director of enrichment and opportunity programs, Excellence in Professional Service  
• Jessica Macica, program aide, Excellence in Classified Service 
• Daniel McCrea, director of academic support services, Excellence in Professional Service  
• Michelle Paine, director of enterprise architecture, Excellence in Professional Service 
• Dianne Ramdeholl, Ed.D., professor of adult learning in the School for Graduate Studies, Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities 

Empire State University President Lisa Vollendorf presented the awards to each employee. 

“I am so grateful for the work these amazing faculty and staff do day in and day out in service to our students,” President Vollendorf said. “Their achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional skills. Empire State University is proud to have such talented individuals as part of our team.”
