A Message From President Vollendorf Regarding Israel and Gaza

Dear Empire State University Community, 

We come to the end of a tragic week full of heartbreaking news out of Israel and Gaza. Empire State University stands with all of those directly and indirectly affected by violence in the region and unequivocally condemns all acts of terrorism and the loss of innocent lives.  

Throughout the week, we have been working our networks to find a meaningful opportunity to help members of our community process the week’s news. Associate Professor Roxana Toma is leading the effort to host a virtual, multi-party conversation open to Empire State University students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday, October 18, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. 

 Additionally, please know that free mental health support is available to students and employees.
