Peer Tutoring for Online Learning Courses

Undergraduate students who are enrolled in online courses may sign up for peer tutoring using the form below. Trained peer tutors can be assigned in different content areas to work with students at a distance and onsite as available. Academic Skills Workshops

ESC regional centers and the Center for Distance Learning offer free workshops, both onsite and online.  The workshops cover a range of academic skills, including Time Management, Writing College Papers, Paraphrasing and Summarizing, Using Sources and Avoiding Plagiarism, Basics of Microsoft Word, etc.

@Home Library Workshops    

The @Home library and research skills workshops are offered online in real time by the College librarians via a web conferencing system.  Workshops cover topics such as Introduction to Searching, Choosing the Best Research Materials, Working with Books and E-Books, Citing Your Sources and Using Refworks.
