Important Information for Students Attending the May (Summer) Term

Financial aid is awarded for the fall and spring terms. If you registered for the summer term, we will award your aid within two to three business days after your file is complete. You can refer to your account summary on MyESC (login required) to confirm that your aid is pending.

Summer loans are automatically determined based on the results of the current year's FAFSA if you have an entrance loan counseling form on file with Empire State College.  If you are attending a summer term that consists of less than 15 weeks, your aid will be adjusted accordingly.
