Updates Regarding the Student Accounting Records and Payment System
The progress of this work will be communicated on MyESC, Student Accounts.
If you need to purchase educational supplies or books off site, prior to the refunding period, you may request an advance of your pending excess financial aid funds. Advance funds are made available by the college's foundation. The maximum amount of an advance is $500 per term.
To apply for an advance, you must:
- be registered and have excess pending financial aid in the term for which you are requesting the advance
- meet all eligibility requirements of your financial aid award(s), including being matriculated in a degree-seeking program and maintaining all good academic standing requirements and any other requirements that are specific to your award(s)
- be enrolled in the necessary number of credits required for your financial aid award(s) in courses that are applicable to your degree program
- complete the application found below, sign and submit to Student Accounts.

Review of applications begins prior to the term start date; see the schedule below for the dates of that term. Applications received before the first date will be held until that time. If approved, your account will be charged for the amount of your advance. Your advance will be distributed via the BankMobile Disbursements refund method you have selected: deposited into your own bank account, BankMobile Vibe account, or a BankMobile paper check. If your refund preference is paper check, be sure to confirm that your address on file is accurate at www.RefundSelection.com. You will be notified by email if your application is denied.
