Important Information for Students Attending the Summer Term
Financial aid is awarded for the fall and spring terms. Aid for summer will start to be reviewed and awarded in April 2018. Once we begin awarding, if you registered for the summer term, we will award your aid within five business days after your file is complete. You can refer to your MyESC student account (login required) to confirm that your aid is pending within 48 hours after your aid is available and after you are registered.
Please refer to our summer TAP section for more information on special provisions that effect the New York State Tuition Assistance Program during the summer term. For NY state aid purposes, aid will be awarded for the May term initially. Students will receive NY state aid only for the May courses if enrolled in both May and June courses. Students who only enroll in the June courses, will have NY state aid awarded for the June courses.
Summer loans are automatically determined based on the results of the current year's FAFSA. For Federal aid purposes all courses taken for May and or June will count toward overall enrollment for the term. Please contact the Financial Aid office for details.
